Where I Mess with My OCD Son. Because I Can.
So, my son is a bit OCD. His room can be a total mess, but by heaven the lid on the dish soap bottle in the kitchen must be CLOSED. He's reprimanded me several times because I don't care- I leave the flip top open and go about my business.
So, one day I thought, Hmmm....I could totally mess with him and see what he does....
So this is what *I* did...
I cut the flip top lid off the dish soap.... (language alert below the fold)
And then I waited.......
And waited........
And waited........
For about a week.
Tonight, Grau and I ran out to the store for a couple things, and apparently said son JUST found the dish soap. So what did he do?
This.......
BWAH HAHAHAHAH. I'm sorry, but that was the first thing I saw when I walked in the back door, and I nearly fell over I was laughing so hard.

ROFL! That's hilarious. I, too, must close the lid every time. But it's less of an OCD thing and more of a I"'m worried a cat or two will knock it over and all the soap will go down the drain" thing. I'm OCD in so many other ways, though. ;)

ReplyDeleteEver share a vehicle with someone that's totally persnickity about the seat position, mirrors, radio, steering wheel, etc? I one time, just to be passive aggressive, did virtually everything I could to change every setting and preference in my wife's minivan, short of turning the whole thing upside down in the driveway. Got a similar reaction out of her.
ReplyDeleteYes, I've been know to be evil sometimes...
hahaha I close mine. The girls knock it over in the sink while their washing dishes to get rid of it. We keep a bottle out at all times with only a little bit in it & hide the rest so they don't waste it.
